The Nature of Custom Work

Jolly Sailor Creative Repair provides custom, artist-led creative mending services. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and created specifically for the client after consultation and design planning.

Because of the personalized and artistic nature of this work, the following refund policy applies.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable.

Deposits secure your project in the studio queue and cover consultation time, design development, and project planning. Once work has begun, time and materials have already been invested.

Completed Work

All completed projects are final sale.

Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not offered once a garment has been repaired or altered.

Creative mending is interpretive and collaborative. Please ensure you feel comfortable with the agreed direction before approving your project.

Project Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your project:

  • Before work has begun: your deposit remains non-refundable.

  • After work has begun: you are responsible for payment covering work completed to date.

Any partially completed garment will be returned only after outstanding balances are paid.

Shipping Issues

Jolly Sailor Creative Repair is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Clients are encouraged to use tracked and insured shipping methods.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

If There Is a Concern

If you are unhappy for any reason, please reach out within 7 days of receiving your garment. While refunds are not offered, I am committed to respectful communication and will make reasonable efforts to address concerns when possible.
