M's Lucky's Mend

M’s Lucky jeans had been out of commission for a while. The crotch blowout started as they do–areas of erosion appeared, and began to put up tiny warning flags made of busted cotton threads. These eventually blew out into actual holes, which was OK when it came to the thigh, and later the back pockets. It was not OK when this happened at the inner thigh, and despite the sads, the Lucky’s had to go in the closet.

I did a visible patch on the left front thigh hole, and another over the reinforced R back pocket. The crotch blowout, though, we agreed to keep discrete. So I disassembled the area, added reinforcement and darned it rigorously. 

Now M’s Luckys are ready to rejoin M’s cluster of current favorite clothes!
