Painter's Pants Mend

A sturdy, quotidian garment, painter’s pants. But commonplace or not, the stovepipe leg is just cool! I share a love of workwear of all kinds. 

A simple thigh erosion brought E to me for a relatively simple visible mend, patch on the inside.

I love mends of all kinds, but I’ve become most comfortable with visible mends to thigh erosion and holes. Big fat contrasting cotton thread–vintage crochet yarn, in fact–makes for fun little drawings around the patch.
